Lennie Omalza is an award-winning freelance journalist from Hawai‘i who now lives in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. She began covering restaurants and local dining scenes in Honolulu Magazine in 2015. She now writes a weekly dining column in Louisville’s The Courier Journal and has been an Eater contributor since 2022. Her work also regularly appears in StyleBlueprint, a southern lifestyle publication. Her favorite Bluegrass restaurant is Mileta, located in Lexington’s Fayette Mall.
