Katie Shapiro is an Aspen, Colorado-based journalist, editor, and strategist who travels across the Rocky Mountain region and alpine destinations around the world to eat, drink, ski, and report. Throughout her two decades in media, her work has appeared in Food & Wine, Michelin Guide Magazine, Thrillist, The Infatuation, Saveur, and other leading publications. An Eater contributor since 2020, Shapiro holds a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Colorado Boulder and has spoken on panels at SXSW, Tribeca Film Festival, Mountainfilm, and more.
