Brittany is Eater's regional editor of Texas, where she oversees coverage, writes, and reports food and dining news for Eater Austin, Eater Dallas, and Eater Houston. She is an award-winning journalist, editor, and features reporter who loves digging into culture, food, and community. Brittany got her start at the Baltimore Sun as a features reporter and blogger, before moving on to the Houston Chronicle, where she reported on higher education and enterprise features stories. Her work has appeared in Texas Monthly, Upworthy, Indian Country Today, Scholastic, and the Washington Post. She is a two-time graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, with a master's in journalism and a bachelor's in English. She is based in the Houston area.
